Giants' QB Carousel Continues in Thanksgiving Loss to Cowboys

The New York Giants' quarterback woes continued on Thanksgiving as they fell to their NFC East rivals, the Dallas Cowboys, 27-20. Despite an initial promising drive resulting in a touchdown, the Giants struggled to maintain momentum. Drew Lock, starting in place of the injured Tommy DeVito, threw a pick-six that swung the game's momentum in Dallas's favor.

The Giants' offensive struggles persisted throughout the game, punctuated by a Lock fumble in the second half that led to another Cowboys touchdown. Dallas capitalized on New York's miscues, with Cooper Rush connecting with Brandin Cooks for a score and Rico Dowdle adding another touchdown run, extending the Cowboys' lead to 27-10.

While Lock managed a late rushing touchdown, it wasn't enough to overcome the deficit. Lock finished the game with 178 passing yards, a touchdown, an interception, and a fumble, also leading the Giants in rushing with 57 yards. The Giants' revolving door at quarterback, with three different starters in as many games, continues to plague the team.

Dallas's victory came at a price, as CeeDee Lamb exited the game with a shoulder injury. Meanwhile, Cowboys rookie Malik Nabers continued his impressive start, setting a new league record for most receptions (75) in a player's first 10 games.

The Cowboys extended their winning streak against the Giants to eight games and improved to 5-7 on the season. The Giants, now 2-10, face the Saints next week, while the Cowboys host the Bengals.
