Following a four-year investigation, Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan Hochman has announced that no charges will be filed against musician Marilyn Manson (Brian Warner) in connection with allegations of sexual assault and domestic violence. The DA's office stated that the statute of limitations had expired on certain domestic violence accusations, and that there was insufficient evidence to prove sexual assault allegations beyond a reasonable doubt.
Manson, 55, has consistently denied all allegations. His attorney, Howard King, expressed satisfaction with the decision, emphasizing Manson's maintained innocence throughout the process.

The DA's office acknowledged the bravery of the women who came forward, highlighting the increased awareness surrounding domestic abuse and sexual assault that resulted from their advocacy. This heightened attention contributed to an extension of the statute of limitations for domestic abuse, both locally and nationally.

The decision to review the case came after actress Esme Bianco, a Manson accuser, publicly criticized Hochman's predecessor, George Gascon, for allegedly mishandling her case. Bianco had previously sued Manson, with the case being settled out of court in 2023.

According to a source close to the legal team, another accuser withdrew her allegations, claiming manipulation by Bianco and Evan Rachel Wood. Wood, Manson's former fiancée, along with other women, have also accused Manson of abuse. Some of these cases have been dismissed in court.

Manson has faced other legal issues, including a community service sentence in New Hampshire for an incident involving a videographer.
