Comedian Gabriel Iglesias, known as "Fluffy," experienced a harrowing incident when his private jet skidded off the runway during landing in Andrews, North Carolina. The aircraft ended up in a muddy field, prompting a swift response from emergency services. Thankfully, Iglesias and everyone on board emerged unharmed, albeit shaken.
Iglesias shared a video of the scene on social media, depicting the plane in the field with people walking towards emergency personnel. He expressed his relief, stating, "Happy to be alive. I love u all." The incident occurred as Iglesias was en route to a performance at Harrah’s Cherokee Event Center in Asheville, as part of his "Don’t Worry, Be Fluffy" tour.

The Cherokee County Sheriff's office confirmed the event, explaining that the plane, a 1987 Gulfstream, experienced difficulty stopping and slid approximately 600 feet off the runway. Heavy rain had been reported in the area that morning. Authorities confirmed that Iglesias was a passenger and that no injuries were reported. The FAA and NTSB are currently investigating the incident.
