A heartbreaking incident in Lee County, Florida, has left a community reeling after a 7-year-old boy lost his life in a golf cart accident. The Florida Highway Patrol reported that the incident occurred on a private property along Orange River Boulevard around 4 p.m. on Monday.
According to authorities, a 3-year-old boy was operating the golf cart and traveling northbound when he approached a curve. Tragically, the cart struck the 7-year-old. Emergency responders rushed the victim to a nearby hospital in critical condition, but he later succumbed to his injuries. The 3-year-old driver was unharmed in the collision.
