Adding an eerie dimension to this tragedy, Lake revealed that celebrity medium Tyler Henry seemingly predicted the fire months prior during a taping of Henry's Netflix show, "Live from the Other Side."
During the episode, Henry vaguely mentioned a fire and water incident connected to Lake. He spoke of a "loss [of] material objects from fire and water," seemingly two distinct events. Lake confirmed a previous house fire and a separate incident involving basement flooding that damaged irreplaceable photos. Henry then emphasized the significance of fire and water in the premonition, specifically mentioning the need to "watch it."
Following the fire, Lake took to Instagram, referencing the episode and crediting Henry's prediction. She expressed disbelief and heartbreak, describing the home as the place where she and her husband, Ross Burningham, planned to spend their lives together. She also shared photos of the property before the fire, showcasing the beauty of the now-destroyed oasis.
Lake later posted a video showcasing the charred remains of her home and garden, noting with a glimmer of hope that the palm trees had survived. She also expressed her sorrow for all those affected by the widespread devastation caused by the ongoing California wildfires. According to official reports, thousands of structures have been impacted by the multiple fires currently burning in Los Angeles County.
