At King Charles III's inaugural Trooping the Colour, the Princess of Wales paid a touching tribute to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana. Kate Middleton's elegant ensemble featured a vibrant green coat dress adorned with sparkling embellishments, complemented by a matching hat. Most notably, she wore Princess Diana's diamond drop earrings, previously seen on Diana during a 1995 royal engagement.

The Princess's choice of green attire and a shamrock brooch also served as a nod to her role as Colonel of the Irish Guards, a title bestowed upon her by King Charles last December, taking over from Prince William.

The Princess of Wales shared the royal carriage with her three children, Prince George, Prince Louis, and Princess Charlotte, alongside Queen Camilla. A heartwarming moment captured Kate affectionately adjusting Prince Louis's tie.

This year's Trooping the Colour marked a significant occasion: King Charles was the first monarch to participate on horseback since Queen Elizabeth II in 1986, restoring a royal tradition.

The event involved over 1,400 soldiers, 200 horses, and 400 musicians. Following the procession, the royal family assembled on the Buckingham Palace balcony to witness a Royal Air Force flypast and a 41-gun salute.
