Former Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson has taken a stand against online critics commenting on her weight gain and alcohol consumption. In a recent Instagram post, Wilkinson shared a photo and video of herself, addressing the negativity head-on.
She acknowledged the changes in her appearance, stating, "Yes, I’ve gained weight. Yes, I'm aging. Yes, I’m not that girl I was before." However, she emphasized her current well-being, both mentally and physically. Wilkinson highlighted her focus on her children, a balanced lifestyle incorporating exercise and cooking, and her dedication to work and golf.
Nearing 40, Wilkinson expressed her contentment and requested respect for her current stage in life. She directly addressed the criticism, saying, "For those of you hating on my new weight, 40-year-old face please know that I’m happy, healthy and at peace in life finally. Leave me alone and respect that I’m where I actually want to be finally all together."
While acknowledging concerns about her alcohol intake, Wilkinson stated she would be more mindful of it moving forward.
Wilkinson also reflected on her past, including her time at the Playboy Mansion. She described entering the mansion as a refuge from a difficult adolescence, where she felt safe. She admitted to breaking rules and having other relationships while with Hugh Hefner, acknowledging the impact these choices had on her mental health. Despite the challenges, Wilkinson expressed a sense of ownership over her past and emphasized that she does not view herself as a victim.
She stated, "I enjoyed my time while living at the mansion. And who you saw is what you got. I was just a fun, wild, young, dumb blond. And I own it."
Now focused on her real estate career and raising her children, Wilkinson appears to be embracing a new chapter in her life.
