Two Massachusetts Teens Killed in Dirt Bike-SUV Collision

A weekend dirt bike ride turned tragic in Wareham, Massachusetts, claiming the lives of two young men. Robert Stocker, 17, and Brady Petrucci, 20, were riding a dirt bike near a shopping plaza late Saturday night when they collided with an SUV. Emergency personnel arrived to find both riders unresponsive with severe injuries. They were transported to a hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.

The initial investigation suggests the SUV was making a left turn when the dirt bike struck it. The SUV driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Tragically, neither Stocker nor Petrucci were wearing helmets, and the dirt bike was not equipped with lights, according to the Plymouth district attorney's office.

Stocker was a student at Northeast Metropolitan Regional Vocational High School in Wakefield. The school's superintendent, David DiBarri, expressed profound sadness at the loss of the "beloved student" and announced that grief counselors would be available throughout the week to support the school community.
