A fan-made trailer for a fictional "Godfather Part 4" featuring Sylvester Stallone recently took the internet by storm, prompting a response from the actor himself. Stallone, now 78, addressed the video on his Instagram account, clarifying with a touch of humor, "What is going on? Lol this is definitely not to be taken seriously!" The post included two images of Stallone, one with a cigar and another holding a firearm.

The individual behind the trailer explained its creation in a message to viewers, emphasizing its artistic and entertainment purpose. They detailed the use of various effects, sound design, AI technologies, film analysis, and other techniques to realize their vision. The trailer sparked enthusiastic reactions on social media, with numerous fans expressing support for the concept of Stallone appearing in another "Godfather" installment.

Comments ranged from "Actually it [could] be a great idea, why not???" to expressions of excitement and hopes for the film's realization. Although renowned for his roles in "Rocky," "Rambo," and "Creed," Stallone once sought a minor role in the original "Godfather's" wedding scene, only to be turned away. He recounted the experience in a 2022 Empire Magazine interview, expressing his disbelief at being deemed unsuitable even for a background part. Ironically, Stallone later portrayed a Mafia-connected character in Taylor Sheridan’s "Tulsa King."

Coinciding with the viral trailer, former President Trump named Stallone as one of three Hollywood ambassadors, alongside Jon Voight and Mel Gibson, tasked with revitalizing the industry. Trump announced these appointments on Truth Social, highlighting their goal of bringing back business lost to international competition. He praised their talent and expressed confidence in their ability to usher in a new "Golden Age of Hollywood."

Stallone previously referred to Trump as the "second George Washington" while introducing him at an America First Policy Institute Gala, expressing admiration for his achievements.
