In a recent podcast appearance, Sharon Osbourne revealed a major career regret involving her husband, Ozzy Osbourne. She declined an audition for him for the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise, a decision she now believes was a mistake.

Speaking on Billy Corgan's podcast, "The Magnificent Others," Sharon recounted the missed opportunity. She expressed regret, stating Ozzy would have been "perfect" for a role in the film series. Corgan agreed, suggesting it might not be too late for Ozzy to join the franchise.

Sharon drew a parallel to Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards, who portrayed Captain Teague in two "Pirates" films. She felt Ozzy could have had a similar impact. Ozzy has appeared in films like "Austin Powers in Goldmember" and "Little Nicky," but the "Pirates" role could have been a significant career highlight.

This revelation comes as Ozzy continues to battle health challenges, including Parkinson's disease. While he has expressed difficulties with walking, he remains positive and "actively doing things." Ozzy is scheduled for a final performance with Black Sabbath in Birmingham, England, this July.

Despite his health issues and retirement from touring, Ozzy is determined to give back to his birthplace with this final show. He considers Birmingham the "true home of metal."
