Early Wednesday morning, two separate shooting incidents shook the Boston area, resulting in one fatality and seven injuries. The first incident, occurring in Boston's Mattapan neighborhood around 2 a.m., left five individuals wounded. Three of the victims were transported to local hospitals, but thankfully, authorities believe none of the injuries are life-threatening. Boston police spokesperson Kim Tavares confirmed the apprehension of two individuals and the recovery of two firearms at the scene. However, as of now, no charges have been filed directly related to the shootings.
Around the same time, another shooting unfolded in Brockton, located south of Boston. This incident tragically claimed one life and left two others injured, as reported by the Plymouth County district attorney. Law enforcement agencies are actively investigating both incidents.
