Morgan Wallen Announces New Album and Tour After Legal Troubles

Following the resolution of his legal issues stemming from a chair-throwing incident in Nashville, country music artist Morgan Wallen is set to embark on a new tour. The tour will support his upcoming fourth studio album, titled "I'm the Problem." The album's title track is scheduled for release on January 31st.

The 19-show stadium tour, also called the "I'm the Problem Tour," promises an exciting return to the stage for Wallen. He expressed gratitude for his fans' support during his previous "One Night at a Time World Tour" and shared his enthusiasm for performing new music. The tour will feature a rotating roster of guest artists, including prominent names like Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, and Koe Wetzel.

Wallen's career has been marked by significant achievements in the past decade. He has consistently broken records and earned widespread recognition within the country music scene. In 2024, he received seven Country Music Association Award nominations, including prestigious categories such as Entertainer of the Year, Single of the Year, and Male Vocalist of the Year.

However, Wallen's year also included a legal challenge. In April, he was arrested for throwing a chair from a Nashville rooftop bar. He subsequently pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment charges. The judge mandated attendance at a DUI education center, two years of supervised probation, and a fine. Wallen's attorney emphasized his cooperation with authorities and his commitment to making a positive impact. The charges are eligible for dismissal and expungement upon successful completion of probation.
