Los Angeles police are urging more victims to come forward after arresting a man accused of sexually assaulting and abusing over a dozen women. Terrance Hawkins, 41, was apprehended in downtown Los Angeles on April 26th. Since his arrest, sixteen women have bravely shared their accounts of abuse with authorities.
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has stated that Hawkins' alleged pattern involved brief relationships with women, followed by abuse and filming of sexual encounters without consent. He was initially detained on a no-bail warrant including charges of forcible rape, intimate partner violence, and stalking.

The LAPD believes the number of victims could be even higher and has encouraged anyone with information to contact them. They have indicated that Hawkins frequently connected with women through various social media platforms. A photograph of Hawkins has been publicly released to assist in identifying potential victims who have not yet come forward.

Hawkins is currently held without bail at the Men's Central Jail in Los Angeles and is scheduled for a court appearance on July 24th. Individuals can reach out to Officer J. Roman at the Operations-Central Bureau Family Justice Center (213) 709-9017 with any relevant details.
