Kennedy Jr. Pledges Fauci Prosecution if Elected, Citing Potential 'Crimes'

Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. stated in a recent interview on "Jesse Watters Primetime" that he would direct his attorney general to prosecute Dr. Anthony Fauci if elected president and if an investigation reveals criminal wrongdoing during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kennedy, challenging incumbent President Biden for the Democratic nomination, engaged in a comprehensive discussion addressing his controversial perspectives on vaccines, his allegations of CIA involvement in his uncle's assassination, and his reasons for running against Biden.

Host Jesse Watters, referencing Kennedy's book "The Real Anthony Fauci," questioned Kennedy's critical stance on Fauci and his prior commitment to prosecuting the former NIAID director concerning a potential role in the Wuhan lab leak theory. Kennedy responded affirmatively, stating he would pursue prosecution if crimes were committed.

Kennedy has been a vocal critic of Fauci's pandemic response, challenging his public health policies and vaccine stances. While not explicitly accusing Fauci of criminal activity, Kennedy asserted that Fauci caused "a lot of injury" by allegedly restricting access to early treatments.

He attributed the high U.S. death toll to what he considers "bad policy," contrasting it with countries that embraced alternative treatments like Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine and experienced significantly lower mortality rates. He suggested that health officials knowingly implemented harmful policies.

These remarks follow Fauci's recent expression of concern over Kennedy's increasing popularity, suggesting that his vaccine skepticism could have fatal consequences.

When pressed on his views linking childhood vaccinations to autism, Kennedy clarified his position, advocating for rigorous scientific testing and placebo-controlled trials for vaccines, similar to other medications, to ascertain their risks and benefits accurately.

Despite trailing significantly behind Biden in current polls, Kennedy maintains a double-digit standing in the Democratic primary race.
