In a series of posts on Truth Social, former President Donald Trump revealed his selections for several crucial positions in his envisioned second administration. These appointments include Michael Ellis as Deputy Director of the CIA, Joe Kent as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC), and Sean Parnell as Chief Pentagon Spokesman and Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs.
Trump emphasized Ellis's prior experience at the White House National Security Council and his role in uncovering alleged abuses of the 'unmasking' process during the Obama era. He also highlighted Ellis's legal background and previous work with the House Intelligence Committee. Trump expressed confidence that Ellis will contribute to restoring the CIA to its former prominence.

For the NCTC Director position, Trump selected Joe Kent, a former soldier, Green Beret, and CIA officer. The former president praised Kent's extensive experience combating terrorism and his personal commitment to national security, referencing the loss of Kent's wife, Shannon, in the fight against ISIS. Trump believes Kent's leadership will be instrumental in protecting America from both international and domestic threats.

Sean Parnell, a decorated combat veteran with two Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart, was chosen as the Chief Pentagon Spokesman. Trump lauded Parnell's military service in Afghanistan, highlighting his unit's success in eliminating enemy fighters. He also mentioned Parnell's contributions to the passage of the MISSION Act during Trump's first term. The former president congratulated Parnell and his family on the appointment.
