FCC Investigates Soros-Linked Radio Station for Broadcasting ICE Agent Locations

FCC Chairman Brendan Carr expressed serious concerns regarding a San Francisco radio station, KCBS 740 AM, funded by George Soros, for allegedly broadcasting the live locations of undercover Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents during deportation operations. The FCC has launched an official inquiry into the incident.

FCC Chairman Brendan Carr addresses concerns about a radio station's broadcast of ICE agent locations.

Carr commended the Trump administration's efforts in deportations and highlighted the potential danger created by the radio station's actions, particularly in an area known for gang activity. The station's broadcast reportedly identified the unmarked vehicles used by the agents. This incident comes amidst calls from some prominent Democrats urging resistance to Trump's policies.

The FCC's investigation centers on whether KCBS 740 AM violated the terms of its license, which mandates operation in the "public interest." The station is part of a network of over 200 stations in which a Soros-backed entity acquired a stake last year. Audacy, the owner of the station, declined to comment on the matter.

The January 26th broadcast of "KCBS Radio Weekend News" allegedly revealed details of the operation, including descriptions and locations of unmarked ICE vehicles. The information was initially circulated by the Santa Clara County Rapid Response Network, an organization focused on protecting immigrant communities from deportation. The FCC's investigation is ongoing, and the station has a limited time to respond to the inquiry.
