Federal agents executed a court-authorized search warrant at the Providence, Rhode Island, law offices of immigration attorney and Central Falls Municipal Court Judge Joseph Molina Flynn. While the FBI confirmed the raid, they declined to provide details regarding the investigation. Molina Flynn's office has not responded to requests for comment.
Local news outlet WPRI 12 reported that several black SUVs were observed outside the Dorrance Street office during the raid, and agents were seen carrying boxes from the building. Sources suggest the investigation predates President Trump's recent return to the White House.
Molina Flynn's law firm, established in 2015, specializes in immigration, family, and criminal law. According to the firm's website, Molina Flynn was born in Medellin, Colombia, and immigrated to the United States at age nine on a tourist visa. He reportedly lived undocumented for 15 years before obtaining legal permanent resident status. He later attended Johnson and Wales University and the University of Michigan Law School.
The U.S. Attorney's Office in Rhode Island declined to comment on the ongoing investigation. Following the raid, Molina Flynn resigned from his judgeship in Central Falls, a position he held since 2021. Central Falls Mayor Maria Rivera announced the resignation, emphasizing the importance of transparency and accountability within the municipal court.
