Fatal Fire Extinguisher Explosion During School Drill in Bangkok

A tragic incident unfolded during a routine fire drill at Rajavinit Mathayom School in Bangkok's Dusit district on Friday. A carbon dioxide fire extinguisher exploded, resulting in the death of one student and injuries to five others. Rescuers from the Ruam Katanyu Foundation, a prominent Thai rescue organization, confirmed the casualties. A representative, Anyawut Phoampai, suggested that the extinguisher might have malfunctioned due to prolonged exposure to heat or sunlight.
