The Tacoma Fire Department responded to the blaze at Bull's Eye Indoor Range on Puyallup Avenue around 6:16 p.m. after receiving reports of occupants trapped inside.
Firefighters discovered one deceased individual and another injured person within the building. The identities of the victims have not yet been released. While details remain scarce, eyewitness accounts reported hearing an explosion prior to the fire igniting, leading to further ammunition discharges within the range due to the intense heat.
The fire was brought under control by 10:40 p.m., according to fire officials. Bull's Eye Indoor Range, typically operating from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, was within its operating hours at the time of the incident.
