A dramatic confrontation unfolded at a Houston gas station Tuesday evening when an armed couple engaged in a shootout with two suspected robbers. The incident, which occurred around 7 p.m. on the 8600 block of Fulton Street, began when a woman observed two armed men exiting separate vehicles and alerted her husband inside the store.
As the suspects initiated the robbery, the husband and wife, also armed, confronted them, leading to an exchange of gunfire. One suspect was injured in the shootout while the other escaped in a Dodge Charger. Remarkably, the husband and wife emerged unharmed.
The injured suspect was transported to a local hospital and is expected to recover. Authorities are currently searching for the escaped suspect.
