A Flint, Texas elementary school teacher specializing in dyslexia intervention has been arrested following a two-month investigation into alleged child pornography transmission. Fabrizio Olague, who worked with kindergarten through third-grade students in the Chapel Hill Independent School District, was apprehended by authorities in Plano while attending a teacher's conference.
The Montgomery County Precinct 1 Constable’s office initiated the investigation, which led to the identification of Olague as the suspected perpetrator. While investigators state they currently have no evidence suggesting Olague victimized any of his students, the investigation remains active. A search warrant was executed at Olague's residence with the assistance of multiple law enforcement agencies, including Montgomery County Precincts 1 and 2, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.
Olague was taken into custody by DPS officials in Plano and transported to the local jail pending legal proceedings. The constable’s office expects Olague to face multiple charges related to the promotion of child pornography. The investigation continues.
