Seven Rescued from Capsized Catamaran During Florida Boat Race

During the Sarasota, Florida boat races on Saturday, a catamaran capsized, prompting a swift response from the U.S. Coast Guard and partner agencies. Seven individuals were successfully pulled from the water, thanks to the combined efforts of the Coast Guard, other agencies, and the assistance of good Samaritans. One person required transport to a local hospital for further medical evaluation.
