Rockets Coach Ime Udoka Ejected After Heated Exchange with Referee

Houston Rockets head coach Ime Udoka's ejection became the main talking point after the team's 120-111 loss against the Sacramento Kings in the NBA Cup on Tuesday night, snapping their three-game winning streak. Rockets forward Alperen Sengun was also ejected during the fourth quarter.

Both Udoka and Sengun expressed frustration with the officiating, specifically what they perceived as missed calls on fouls against Sengun. Udoka's visible anger directed towards referee John Goble ultimately led to his ejection.

Udoka didn't leave the court peacefully after the ejection. A Rockets assistant had to intervene between the irate coach and the referee. Following the game, Udoka voiced his displeasure with the officiating, citing "missed calls, blatant missed calls" while less significant fouls were being called.
