Paramedics Exchange Vows with Ambulance as Backdrop

A Scottish couple, both paramedics, recently celebrated their wedding with a unique touch – a non-operational ambulance serving as a backdrop for their ceremony.

Wayne and Sarah Marshall, who work for the Scottish Ambulance Service, exchanged vows at the Creebridge House Hotel. The presence of the ambulance symbolized their shared profession and the bond it created.

The groom, Wayne, shared that the day was filled with joy and laughter, spent with loved ones and colleagues. He recounted a playful moment where they pretended to have lost the rings, only for a guest to discover them hidden under a chair.

Having met through their work, the couple felt it fitting to incorporate an ambulance into their wedding photos. An off-duty colleague provided the non-operational vehicle for the occasion.
