Lee documented the experience on her Instagram story, sharing a photo and video of herself sprawled on the snow. "First time skiing," she wrote. "Omg never again." A video taken by her friend, Samira Ahmed, and re-shared to Lee's story, shows the gymnast laughing as she struggles in the snow. The caption on the video reads, "This is why I stay off the slopes."
While Lee's skiing attempt may not have been successful, it's clear that her athleticism and coordination remain impressive. The 2020 Olympic all-around gold medalist and uneven bars bronze medalist, as well as the 2024 Olympic all-around and uneven bars bronze medalist, has contributed significantly to the U.S. gymnastics team's success.
