Could Rachel Zane be returning to the courtroom? Aaron Korsh, creator of the legal drama "Suits" and its recent spin-off "Suits LA," has extended an open invitation to Meghan Markle to reprise her role.
Speaking at the "Suits LA" premiere, Korsh told People magazine that the possibility of former cast members, including Markle, appearing as themselves or reprising their original characters has been discussed. He admitted, however, that having the Duchess of Sussex back on the show as Rachel Zane might be a bit too meta, saying, "My brain blows up at the thought of that… it would be too much of an explosion of the fourth wall."

Markle portrayed lawyer Rachel Zane on "Suits" from 2011 to 2018, departing the show to marry Prince Harry. The popularity of the original series resurged after Netflix added it to their platform in 2023, leading to the creation of "Suits LA" with a new cast.

Since stepping back from royal duties, Markle has been busy with various media projects, including the Netflix docuseries "Harry & Meghan," a Spotify podcast, and an upcoming lifestyle show on Netflix titled "With Love, Meghan." She also maintains an active Instagram presence.

Markle has previously spoken about the pressures of royal life, recounting a time in 2019 when she discreetly traveled to New York to support Serena Williams at the U.S. Open, highlighting her discomfort with public attention at the time. Last year, she missed a "Suits" quasi-reunion at the Golden Globes, where former castmates presented an award, reportedly due to a prior engagement.

While Korsh has expressed enthusiasm for Markle's potential return, it remains to be seen if the Duchess will take him up on the offer. Fox News Digital has reached out to Markle's representatives for comment.
