Jennie Garth Plans to Leave Los Angeles After Daughter's Graduation

Actress Jennie Garth, known for her role as Kelly Taylor on "Beverly Hills, 90210," has revealed her intention to move out of Los Angeles once her youngest daughter finishes high school. Her desire to relocate isn't related to the recent wildfires in the area, though she and her husband, Dave Abrams, did temporarily evacuate their home during the Eaton Fire. Garth emphasized to Fox News Digital that leaving Los Angeles has been a long-standing desire.

With her work primarily home-based, including her iHeart podcast "I Choose Me" and her clothing brand, Garth feels no strong ties to the city. She recently held the first live event for her podcast, which centers on self-care and empowerment, at the iHeartTheater in Los Angeles. Once her daughter graduates and her husband's new bar business establishes a rhythm, she plans to finalize her move.

While Garth appreciates the beauty and creative energy of Los Angeles, she expresses a dislike for the traffic and large population. She envisions moving to a more nature-filled environment, possibly in Montana or Colorado, surrounded by trees and away from the urban hustle. She ruled out returning to the Midwest, where she grew up on a horse farm in Illinois.

Garth credits her Midwestern upbringing for instilling in her a strong work ethic and practical skills, as well as a sense of frugality. She expressed a desire to continue providing for her three children, whom she shares with ex-husband Peter Facinelli, even after they are grown.
