Musician Gavin Rossdale has launched a new cooking show, "Dinner with Gavin Rossdale," allowing him to balance work and family life. The show's creation stemmed from Rossdale's desire to work from home and spend more time with his three sons, whom he shares custody of with Gwen Stefani. He also has an older daughter, Daisy Lowe, from a previous relationship.
Beyond the convenience of working from home, Rossdale explained that the show provides him with a platform to express himself outside of his music career with Bush. He felt that while he had achieved success with his band, he lacked a distinct individual voice.
"I have a profile, I have a band. I've had a lot of success but not much voice. So I thought, why not...be yourself and sort of have your own voice?"

Rossdale also expressed concern about his sons, Kingston and Zuma, following in his musical footsteps, acknowledging their impressive talent but worrying about the challenges of a music career today. While he's apprehensive, he remains supportive of their passions, encouraging them to explore their interests and develop independence.
The show, which premiered on VIZIO's WatchFree+ streaming service, features Rossdale preparing three-course meals for celebrity guests, including Serena Williams, Common, Selma Blair, and Brooke Shields. He praised Shields' intellect and approachability, finding her surprisingly down-to-earth despite her fame.
