Fox News continues its reign as the leading news source on YouTube, achieving a remarkable 410 million video views in January. This marks the network's second-highest YouTube performance ever, according to data from Emplifi.
This impressive figure dwarfs the viewership of other news outlets, surpassing its nearest competitor, NBC News, by a massive 242 million views—a record-breaking 145% lead. MSNBC garnered 153 million views, followed by ABC with 140 million, CNN with 137 million, CBS News with 62 million, and The New York Times with 7 million.
This online success mirrors Fox News Channel's cable performance, where it secured its highest-rated January ever, extending its 23-year streak as the top cable news network. The network broadcast the 603 most-watched cable news programs since Election Day and held the top 270 spots in January.
Fox News averaged 1.9 million total daily viewers in January, leading all cable networks. During primetime (8-11 p.m. ET), Fox News drew an average audience of 2.8 million viewers, further solidifying its dominance in the cable news landscape.
Fox News anchors Martha MacCallum and Bret Baier spearheaded the network's coverage of President Trump's inauguration last month.
