A devastating fire in a rural North Carolina mobile home has claimed the lives of five individuals, leaving the tight-knit community of Broadway in shock. The Harnett County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the victims as homeowners Michael Breymeyer, 74, and his wife, Tammy Breymeyer, 58, along with family friend Daniel Garner, 39, and Garner's two young sons.
The blaze occurred on Sunday, and authorities, including the fire marshal’s office, are currently investigating the cause. Broadway, located approximately 45 miles southwest of Raleigh, is grappling with the loss. Local resident Kayla Gonzalez, who knew Tammy Breymeyer, shared her grief, describing Breymeyer as a supportive and positive influence in the community. Gonzalez expressed the profound impact of the sudden loss, reminding everyone of the preciousness of life.
