FBI Presence at Ben Affleck's Residence Linked to Palisades Fire Investigation

Federal agents were seen at Ben Affleck's Brentwood rental home on Sunday, raising concerns. However, the FBI clarified their presence was related to the ongoing Palisades fire investigation and not connected to any wrongdoing by the actor. Agents were observed outside the property, but Affleck's representative did not comment on the situation.

The FBI's Ground Intercept task force confirmed their activities in the area, explaining that agents and local partners may be visible at various locations, including residences, as part of the fire investigation. It remains unclear if Affleck was present during the agents' visit, but they reportedly departed after some time.

This incident comes days after Affleck was seen with his daughter Violet outside the same rental, which he and Jennifer Lopez reportedly occupied before their divorce filing in August. Photos from the summer showed moving trucks leaving the property.

The former couple listed their Beverly Hills mansion for $68 million before their official split, and the property remains on the market. Their divorce was finalized earlier this month.

Affleck reportedly bought a new Pacific Palisades home for over $20 million in July, which reportedly survived the Palisades Fire. Jennifer Garner, Affleck's ex-wife, expressed her concern for the community affected by the fire, mentioning the devastation and her desire to help.
