A concrete pump truck in Richardson, a suburb of Dallas, Texas, caught fire on Wednesday afternoon after its boom made contact with a power line. The incident occurred near the intersection of East Collins Boulevard and Glenville Road. Images from the scene depict the truck completely ablaze.
The Richardson Police Department confirmed that the fire was a direct result of the boom striking the power line. Fortunately, the fire was extinguished by 2:05 p.m. and there were no reported injuries. The incident caused significant damage to the truck.
